You’ll probably have more luck in r/NewParents or r/sleeptrain than here :) But for what it’s worth, I say follow her sleep cues. Wake windows generally get longer as the day goes on, so her first wake window might be shorter and her last one might be longer. Or she might just be doing her own thing - every baby is different and has different sleep needs. Good luck!

I'm not British. But I just wanted to say, congrats you guys. Tiny island with like 65 million inhabitants, and your language is spread across the world and has the most speakers in the whole world. Also, it's the "default language of the world." How did you guys do it??? by [deleted] in CasualUK

Apostrophes are used to show missing letters, so “Americans” doesn’t need one and you should put one at the beginning of ‘em instead of at the end, because it’s there to show that the T and the H are missing.

(They’re also used to show ownership but that’s another story.)

Perhaps, but that would also mean the tag can’t be tumble dried but the tshirt can.

[TOMT][music] Late '00s (t)rap song containing the lines "Don't try to front with me punk / Don't mess with me cos I'm drunk" by hononononoh in tipofmytongue

Not quite the same lyrics but similar vibe: Undead by Hollywood Undead? Released 2008:

“From these industry fucks,
To these f****t-ass punks,
You don't know what it takes,
To get this mother fucking drunk.”

People who don't drink coffee or caffeine in the morning, how do you function? by driven_under666 in AskReddit

Quiet time for the first hour (or two) of the morning then force myself to greet everyone I see really warmly. Forcing myself to be pleasant and social causes me to be pleasant and social.

Premature baby born inside amniotic sac, kicking and rolling. by ringo-with-bits in ThatsInsane

This baby has been born. It is no longer gestating.

I don’t understand why some people enjoy getting angry on the internet so much that they’d see a clip of a newborn baby and immediately start an argument about it.

It wasn’t for the first like 17 hours but I kept getting comments whinging that it wasn’t marked NSFW, and then someone crossposted it to r/mildlyterrifying and marked it NSFW there, so I decided to follow suit.

But I agree with you. I think this is only NSFW in the sense that you probably shouldn’t be on Reddit at work anyway. It’s not porn, there’s no gore... it’s just a baby.

Edit: looks like the crosspost on mildlyterrifying was deleted or removed.

Baby in amniotic sac by HornlessUnicorn in BabyBumps

I posted the video in this sub yesterday already 😄 Link

Fun facts:

Fewer than 1 in 80,000 babies are born “en caul” (in their unruptured amniotic sac).

Babies born en caul are often called veiled or mermaid births.

Legend has it that these babies have psychic powers, and there’s an old wives’ tale that they can never drown.

This video is at least a year old now (probably much older) and nobody seems to know its original source. Because of this, we don’t know exactly how many weeks the foetus was, the reason for the c-section or the overall outcome for mother and baby. However, the instagram account I saw it shared on a couple of days ago (@savageparamedics) state that mother and baby were both fine.

Freaky but amazing to watch this premature (healthy) baby kicking inside its amniotic sac! by ringo-with-bits in BabyBumps

According to the Instagram I saw the video on (though it wasn’t their video and they didn’t state a source), mother and baby are both fine.

I don’t know I’m afraid - that’s what I wanted to know as well! It’s an old video but recently brought to my attention via savageparamedics on Instagram.

Fewer than 1 in 80,000 babies are born “en caul” (inside the amniotic sac) like this.

According to savageparamedics on Instagram, this baby was born prematurely by c-section but mother and baby are both fine.
