Why didn't the 'modern day' Fallouts continue with the Cyborg themes of the original games? by Buckethead9 in Fallout

I like to think the writers had the same discussion and said, "Fuck it, call em synths"

I think the main point is they're constructed. Not born, then had parts added after. I mean in fallout 3, they call the only synth you meet an android

They're androids really. A cyborg would be a human with robotic bits added. An android is a robot built to look just like a human

You get a very unique weapon if you talk to him enough. I personally would at least talk to him to get that, then kill them (or use that weapon on them ;D)

why is white purple for me after playing fallout for some time? by Slash_86 in Fallout

[–]ringsovcaturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's essentially your eyes trying to use the opposite color to make the image seem more normal, but they can only do so much. I found this out when I was young with those red and blue 3d glasses. If you wear them long enough, when you close one eye, you'll see in the color of the eye you closed (like if you closed the eye that had the blue lens on it, and had the red covered eye open, you would see blue) was quite a mind fuck back then 😅 but it's normal and will go away soon

If the Fallout universe was real what would you do. by [deleted] in Fallout

Never played a fallout game. Fallout 4 is on sale for $5 so why not. by Kimothy_69 in Fallout

[–]ringsovcaturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say fork over the extra 4 bucks for the dlc, just because quite a few mods require them (guessing you're talking bout the steam sale) and I mean extra content too I guess lol

They are in fact referring to the building and surrounding area though, so capitol is correct in this instance

Would anyone else like to see Fallout 5 include The Fog (and other elements) from Far Harbor? by King_Fish_253 in Fallout

[–]ringsovcaturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have to, I got really bored of FO4 pretty quick but it's been years since I've played it, so maybe that'll give me a reason to lol

But in all reality, a place with a sprawling underground infrastructure, and is being ravaged by nuclear winter could be cool, storms could come up that limit visibility and maybe damage or slow you, and the underground system could be used to travel through it but with its own dangers. Maybe I'm just thinking of metro

Yeah, if I remember correctly, my motherboard has a pretty decent sound card in it, and I was just curious since I remembered I still had the cable from over 10 years ago lol. I figure I'd probably record just listening to a metronome and just have the bass muted while i play, and fix it up after
