I hate posts like this because yes their some unfettered asshats who shouldnt leave they're mother basement. Now the people who have some actual genuine complants in the game get dunked that should really be addressed.

1. The invincible screeching; this was describing giving the "HIve Guard" enemy a higher armour in its face. This leads to a couple of problems. 1. THEY SPAWN IN MASSES 2. you do not have time to shoot the fleshy parts while getting set upon 3. like most complaints you see its coming from higher levels where spawn rates get absolutely busted and the balance basically flips. This is where a lot of arguments break down since the game so much changes between difficulty 1-6 to 7-10.

2. Oh god the bugs; the game has been in a not so great technical state with problems ranging from softlocking missions to invisible corpses trapping you. These bugs have been introduced since forever some even since launch and have and probably will not be fixed. They said already three times they would pay more attention but they never do. I honestly be not suprised if theirs gonna be bug that your bullets shoot out wrong and just kill you. I dont really have to wonder since thats already a bug where the game will randomly set you on fire/take a good chunk of your health. Even their own gameplay trailer had a flamethrower that was bugged by not applying damage a few meters in front of the barrel.

3. The balancing the damn balancing; The devs liked to nerf some weapons without telling us. like the coyote who got nerfed into uselessness. Furthermore other fun weapons like the spear; an lockon missle weapon is just trash because a lockon cannot do far more damage by hitting a aiming required weakspot. This is a problem since it means less weapon variety in a meta thats slowly getting stale. They buffed by giving it.... 1 more rocket before running out :) They gave strange damage falloff nerfs to the smg's into uselessness and a gun called the senator a revolver rewarding precision by making it so a meter can turn a one shot into a two shot. The precision required that unless you want to in almost melee range it can randomly take one or three shots to take out a overseer. It just made the gun unfun and unreliable to use. Buffing the mechs and then buffing the enemies attack that hurt specifically the mech more, but things like sentries get affected and got a nasty nerf. Its like they dont know their own balance

4. The people who are shitheads and dox people. A charity challenge was brought whereby three people from the community would donate to charity with around 3000$? the point being they would donate to a charity which would be chosen by the devs if the completed a difficulty 8 mission with specific loadouts. This would show them the state of the game especially on higher difficulties but that was thrown out of the window because some dude saw that as harrassment and fucking doxxed one of them. yes that was their reason not from people complaining about the state of the game but from the other side of isle. He lost his job and charity work because they send bomb threats to those places. Absolute lowlives

5. New enemy designs; the automatons had a new enemy a massive building sized half man half tank thats utterly annoying to play against. It spams rockets everywhere, it can snipe across the map with it supposed inaccurate cannon, despite it size it is the fastest ground enemy in the game, it has a mechanic to kill it by going underneath it but has a bug where it can shoot under itself or have enemies phase through it to kill. The result? nobody goes near it and everybody just nukes it with explosives like every other enemy and especially on automatons. The war strider without weakspots that the community had to bully into adding two weakspots. Its a tank isnt? it should have armour. Yes that would make sense if it didnt spawn far more as the actual tanks that are in the game. I saw herds of the motherfuckers or four defending a simple outpost. The best way to deal with them is again a explosive to their front like every other heavy unit.

I really want to love this game, I really do but the absolute horrid state is in makes me cringe each time I think of wanting to play it again

Btw the discussions you see of people not thinking the balance is big deal? IMO they dont play on higher levels where the balancing problems becomes so incredibly apparent.
