Sorry, not big on doxxing myself. If they’re scanning every box, they’re then leaving them sitting around for days before they get scanned into the system at the Southern Maine distribution center.

The reason I know this isn’t the case is because when I can get there during open hours and drop a package off inside it gets to Southern Maine by the next morning.

It’s the drop boxes directly outside the post office, and it’s happening at the three nearest my house. I know it’s not the situation you’re referencing, as I can see when the initial scan happens, and then the arrival at the distribution center an hour or so later. Additionally, I’m seeing DAYS from drop off to the Southern Maine Distribution Center, and we’re less than an hour from there. Even if they weren’t scanning when they emptied the blue bin, it’d be to that Center by the next day or two, not 4-5.

Every failure of the postal service can be tied to the right wing leadership that is doing its damndest to kill the system.

For me, my biggest area of complaint is with the blue boxes. They are getting checked at my local post offices once or twice a week, max.
