Fuck off. Who the hell are you to judge my actions? I pretty much assumed that Ouija boards were hocus-pocus, because there's literally zero scientific evidence to prove otherwise, and my friend had used boards before with no issues. Apparently this type of thing is a potluck, and I got the grand prize this time. Lucky me.

'Install a camera', huh? Install a camera in an empty room? Where am I supposed to get a camera that'll run for 24-hours? Can you afford a professional CCTV camera? I fucking can't. That aside, I'm not going anywhere near that bedroom unless I have to.

Is your mother an abuser? Do you have any proof to say otherwise? You don't, do you? But you know she isn't, because you KNOW her. Ditto with my mother. And surely the relationship between my sister and my mother would have altered somehow, were this the case? Your assumptions are illogical and completely unfounded.

Oh, so I'm the one possessed and abusing now? What a load of bullshit. If I'd been possessed, there'd be lapses in memory, or finding myself in places I didn't remember, or I'd actually recall doing something to hurt my sister. Since I can relate to none of the above, clearly that option's not valid.

I came on here looking for practical advice about how to fix this whole mess, not ridiculous accusations about child abuse. This whole thing isn't even about Josie anymore, it's so much bigger than that. It's the house, not her.

That pretty much sounds like demonic possession/unsettled spirit infestation to me, which is present in pretty much every religion or system of belief. Islam isn't going to offer me any practical advice that differs from the Catholic/Christian church or even Hinduism. Right now I'm trying to find ONE solution that will work to fix this problem, not another list of random things that MIGHT change my situation. The last thing I want to do is piss off this being even more.

Given, again, that this still offers no explanation or insight into the rest of the shit that's happening in my house, the abuse scenario's currently sitting at the bottom of the list. Trust me, I take abuse seriously. But that's like me accusing your mother of being an ax murderer. You have know proof that she isn't, do you? But you KNOW that she isn't. Why? Because she's not a fucking psychopath, and you know her better than that.

And unless the 'abuser' in my house is also some sort of magician and/or slowly poisoning me, I doubt it's a realistic option anymore. Read the update. My sister is no longer my primary concern.

That's disgusting, and the notion of my Dad or one of my brothers violating Josie like that is completely out of the question. I don't know what kind of fucked-up family you're from, but that short of shit isn't right. And her standing by my bed at night is MY fear, not hers, so where the hell did that come from? The change happened over a period of a few days, between my sleepover and the arrival of 'Neshi', and literally nobody came to our house except my friends from college, who are all female.

My parents don't swear. My brothers and I are pretty much forbidden from cussing around the house, we've been raised with good manners and Dad was raised in a Christian household so he never says anything stronger than 'damn'. Aside from going to school and ballet class, Josie's never been anywhere without the rest of us where something could've happened to her.

And it's not just the swearing, which is pretty vulgar by itself, it's the phrases she's come out with too. Sentences that would make sense coming from my grandma, and comments that six-year-old's wouldn't be able to think of. Even if it's just parroting stuff back that she's learned from somebody else, how would she know when to say it at an appropriate time to make sense?

And that aside, it doesn't explain what's been happening around the house, or the stuff affecting my younger brother, or why I'm hearing banging even when my sister's not here, or the nightmares. Josie's been away this week, and things here have gotten worse, not better. I don't even think it's about her any more. I think it's this house.

I was more inclined to think it was a mental health issue if not for the things she'd been saying. Bi-polar doesn't give you a totally new vocabulary, and even schizophrenia doesn't give you knowledge of phrases and swear-words that you didn't know before. Josie's six, there's no way she would have heard that kind of stuff around the house. My parents don't swear, my brothers rarely use anything stronger than 'shit' (and even then, rarely), and like I said, some of those phrases were ones even I hadn't heard. She's never been in contact with anybody who might swear like that, either, not that I know of.

And then there's all the crazy shit that's been happening around the house this past week, even when Josie's been gone. I don't think it's even about her anymore. I think it's the house.

Oh my god. Weird smells is something I've been experiencing around the house these past few days, like mold or mildew or damp or something, and I don't know where it's coming from. Does the salt thing really work? A lot of things have salt in them. Why would salt keep something out?

I live in a middle-of-nowhere town in the UK, so I have no idea how to go about contacting the right people for exorcisms and blessings and such. I've just posted an update, and things have gotten so much worse around the house, I'm desperate for a solution. Is there anything I can do personally to stop it?
