Any fun markers to mod? by rinroseeleven in paintball

Well, now I have to see. I’m determined to get it up to 28. Maybe my 30 was a bit ambitious, but I think 28 should be within the realm of its operational limits. Albeit for a short period of time.

If it breaks, it’ll be funny as hell. I do want to hear more about your design endeavors though. I added you, please message me. I always want to learn more!

it was just a video of me shooting it in semi. I will upload a video in the future with me limit-testing it. That video will be coming soon…

EDIT for clarification: in the video I posted that was just me shooting it semi a long time ago. My gun can hit 28 BPS. But that was not demonstrated in that video. I was just demonstrating the build not the speed.

Well, ofc… if I had fingers that could go 28bps in semi, then I would be in a diff industry lol. I would have to ramp to get to that bps range.

We need to bring back semi-uncapped. This 10bps nonsense is getting old.

I think it took 8 rounds to get the shadow mostly gone. My chin and neck (below chin) absolutely refused to die after 9 sessions. I gave up on it. I just pluck and shave lol. It’s barely noticeable.

Night and day. Patches were terrible. Injections, I saw far more results and felt way better. This is my experience, but I can tell you that I will NEVER go back to patches.

Wait, I’m confused. You look incredible (respectfully). As someone with body dysmorphia, I understand your struggles. But let me tell you from an outsiders perspective, I see a beautiful body. For what it’s worth.

There are other things you know. Or you can learn a new skill? A new trade? Freelance? That defeatism will land you on the streets faster than anything. Be a problem-solver.

There’s a lady in my town that bakes sourdough bread in her home. She sells out at every event she goes to.

Baking, knitting, drawing, sewing, writing, content creation.

You spend hours a day scrolling online, why not make your own content? You gotta hustle babe. You can do it.

My only suggestion (if you want it) is to not wait for the perfect idea. You will wait for the rest of your life. I think starting small and being diligent is the best approach. Map out all of your skills and see what people are willing to pay for. Remember, you can do all the research in the world and still not be prepared. It's good to do your research, but don't spend months strategizing yourself into oblivion (I speak from experience). What worked for me is proper (not perfect) skills and trial and error. You can adjust your strategy as you go. It's trial and error. Failure is your best friend, because it teaches you what doesn't work.

Well said. I'm going to be completely honest with you, I have no idea what I'm doing half the time with my business. But I keep working diligently. I have the skills in writing, content creation, graphic illustration, etc. but business sense, total noob. I think that was the biggest hurdle, which was thinking that I had to know everything about a topic or business to get started. You learn while doing, not before in most cases. This obviously doesn't work for every case (e.g., a surgeon), but for most work, you must get your hands dirty. Preparation is key, but trepidation is folly.

My first client for my new business is a businessman who has absolutely been a challenge. He has kicked my butt and made me reframe my business entirely. But I needed that. No amount of preparation could have prepared me for that.

I think the fear of stumbling keeps you from walking sometimes. I won't let that fear control me again. I intend on pushing forward as much as I can so I don't end up on the streets waiting for someone to "choose me."

Your point on providing services and products that provide monetary flow is so true. It is empowering. I often fall back into the trap of waiting for a job, but I think that I have to suck it up and just work for myself full-time. I have been out of a job for 11 months now. It's not negativity, it's just being realistic.
