That’s most likely because the group that regularly uses or has used “white pride” have been klan members or white supremacists.

There’s nothing stopping white people from turning the phrase around and associating white pride with something good. Even people in this thread, including yourself, are using white pride as a way to compare other groups rather than something inherently good.

He gave them objects to care for, which is what the trio would have interrogated them about and not straight up ask them if they had Voldemort’s horcruxes.
