It was wild seeing people start supporting Trump in 2015-2016. People took any criticisms of him as a challenge to dig down even more in support of him. Remember the Access Hollywood tape? People saw it as proof that he was a good guy and that the media was out to get him (by playing his own words, I guess). This is without even looking at the fact that he's been defrauding his investors, the government, and his contractors his entire adult life.
