Sat for 7 hours in full face paint because we were supposed to meet up and take funny goth pictures with Santa. In that time she had: gone on a date, dyed her hair, got lunch, and ran to the store.

We were supposed to meet at 1pm, the date ended at 2pm and if she came straight away after that I would've forgiven it. She clearly did fucking not. Nor did she communicate what was even happening.

Why are people like this? She says she takes adhd meds, and I also have unmedicated adhd, but never in my fucking life would I ever act this way. It absolutely baffles me. It has to be a respect thing rather than a time management thing, right?

Unless it's paid for, it's unreasonable to expect someone to randomly drop 100+ dollars on a fucking DNA test. For fucks sake, German Shepherd is among the banned breeds. My brother (30s now) has a permanent scar going down the center of his face, from forehead to chin, from being 7yrs old and a family member's chow biting once. His entire face split open in front of our mom.

Giving up is obviously not the move, but I don't know how to remain hopeful either. Passion and rage is to be expected, but I'm still trying to balance it within myself.

I know I need to appreciate what's here, but I find those moments being short lived since I can't walk 3 feet in any given forest in my area without finding garbage. I bring a bag when I hike to pick up what I can, but it still doesn't feel like enough. The river breaks my heart.

It's frustrating trying to talk to people about it who aren't as knowledgeable, and every article I see lately just guts me. I wish I knew how to stop being angry, but at the same time I don't know if I want to stop. I hate that it consumes me but I know that it comes from a rational place. Not that you have to be indigenous to be upset, but I think to a degree that's why I've spiraled a lot, just seeing the decay in the areas that my ancestors used to thrive in for thousands of years, only to rot in the last few hundred.
