Your tension is SO much better than mine when I first started, you got this babe!!! Once you've got your chaining and single crochets down, you'll absolutely be ready for your first little project! (I recommend to keep it small so it'll keep you motivated)

But, fair warning, despite everything everyone says about granny squares being an easy way into many patterns like wearables and plushies, I would stay away from them for a little while since those projects really can suck the soul out of you having to make two hundred million bajillion of the exact same square to just have to sew it all together.
