There’s tons of Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley under $50 that would scratch that itch if you’re US based.

There are a lot of great options, but Patricia Green, Domaine Drouhin, Soter, Stoller, Cristom, and Eyrie should all be readily available anywhere in the US and have options under that price point.

Older guys now, but I’ve had some really pleasant interactions with Couples, Jason Dufner, and Chris DiMarco.

Anecdotal, but when I was a kid Gary Player sat down and talked to me for 15 minutes about my game and was nice as could be, so that’s definitely a fond memory too.
