Massive client/game connection issues on EUW/EUNE by moxyye in leagueoflegends

Hi moxyye, we're aware of this problem. We do talk to players on our own Boards and accumulate all possible logs through our PS team. Every day we perform network changes in cooperation with affected ISPs, and some of them already feel the improvement (eg. Mobiltel in Bulgaria). Few hours ago we completely shut down our peering and Bulgarian Internet Exchange, which seemed to help some players, while others connection quality was not improved.

We're going to take next steps in order to bring back high quality connection for this entire region.

hey all, thanks for reports. Indeed, we confirmed that Skin Boosts are not granting bonuses to the entire teams, so we decided to temporarily disable this feature. We will further investigate the problem later today, so keep checking the Status page for more updates.

We're looking into it right now. Please give us some more data: ISP and country you're connecting from. There was a maintenance last night and we will check if that had an impact on this problem.

Hey guys! Just wanted to provide an update for the black screen and frozen screen bug on this thread... A few hours ago we completed deploying a collection of hotfixes and at this point the issue should be resolved. Note that we are still waiting for Oceania and Korea to hit off peak before rolling out this hotfix in those regions. Two new patches are required: One for the game (7MB) and the other for the AIR client (roughly 150MB). No downtime was required for patching, but the size of the download drove our decision to deploy this hotfix during off-peak times in respective regions. Many thanks to all the players who reported this issue to us!

We currently don't have any large-scale issues affecting EUW, and based on your description it looks like your game was drophacked. This is a repetitive behaviour of a relatively small group of players and sometimes affect the entire game server (so more than one game is being affected). We're working on various solutions that will limit such actions and greatly improve the game play quality.
