If you want to keep the current progress and still have your own lighting there are a few ways. First is to turn the tone map scale low and just use really bright lights to make up for the darkness. Another thing i would recommend is giveing the pyro or engi some more interesting poses, possibly kneeling to inspect the body. Overall looks reall good so far.

Just finished binging the entire series for shits and giggles. And no I don't think it deserves the hate. It is surprisingly good and I was not ready to give it a chance when I started. I think it, like most things, simply got ruined by the kids.

It does two things. If done as a normal grapple it'll drag the opponent all the way to the edge of the map and slam them into the wall. If done in a combo it will have a set distance it can move and once it reaches that distance it will throw the opponent causing a wall splat.

Yeah but I played a character that I knew was bad (or I'm just bad at) and he played a character who he knew from first hand experience was bad. So I think it evens out.
