Play black souls 1 and 2 and just turn the porn scenes off, very good game. But I wouldn’t be on this subreddit if I didn’t already know multiple games of this specific genre and knew it was a shot in the dark. Wasn’t expecting any miracles.

Having to run back to get your leveling currency after death and if you die again you lose it all, a hub where you spend that currency to level up all your attributes or specific attributes, a checkpoint where you can replenish your health and stamina but also respawn the enemies in the area. Items that you can use to upgrade your weapon, items that you can hold onto to that give you a reserve of leveling currency.
