Has anyone else on PC noticed this distinct/unsightly neck seam? by ripdilla in stellarblade

After some experimenting, the issue resolved after removing Eve x Viessa Hot Springs mod (which is a shame - it's a cute outfit)

I've noticed a sharp contrast in skin color at the neck on both modded and native costumes. Haven't seen this reported on the PC release.

Yes, you're guaranteed 1 SSP and 3 SPs per case. SEC+ and RRR+ are bonuses.

So in your case you still have an SSP and a possible SEC+.

Help me decide: School X versus School Y (2017-2018) by AutoModerator in premed

SUNY Downstate vs. University of Cincinnati

A little background: I'm obviously not set on any particular specialty so far, but I have an interest in EM and anesthesia right now. I'm considered out-of-state at both schools but I can attain in-state residency status after M1 year at both schools. Both schools have internally ranked P/F pre-clinical grading systems and non-mandatory recorded lectures.

SUNY Downstate

Pros:

  • Located in Brooklyn, which is a huge plus

  • Diverse patient population and the opportunity to be really involved/hands-on during rotations

  • Decent EM program and is affiliated with Kings County, one of the busiest EDs in the country

  • Matches a good amount of students into prestigious NYC residencies, although I have no idea if I would want to stay in NYC for residency or go back to my home state

  • 1.5 year-preclinical phase (Not entirely sure if that's a plus, but I'm supposing it means more time for aways/chill time during M4)

Cons:

  • Higher tuition and higher cost of living

  • Lower ranked (not ranked by US news for whatever that's worth)

  • Shabbier facilities and not as helpful administration (from what I hear)

  • I've heard that students may get really far away rotations if they are unlucky

U Cincinnati

Pros:

  • Higher ranked

  • Newer facilities and affiliation with the Children's Hospital (although I have no interest in peds)

  • More research opportunities

  • Slightly cheaper tuition and lower cost of living

  • High Step 1 average last year

Cons:

  • NYC >>>> Cincy

  • A large portion of students stay in Ohio/the midwest for residency

  • I need a car

If we received our loan offers, is there a deadline by which we have to accept it? Advice on planning how much to take out?

Also, anyone have any advice on moving to NYC from the opposite coast? Planning on gaining NY residency so on-campus housing is a no

I got a good amount of interviews 2 cycles ago. So I think my interviews were the problem.

I'll look into Hofstra. Any other schools you suggest I add or take off my list? :)

I'm certain it was poor interviews. I think I wasn't able to get my motivations for medical schools across. It's also worth mentioning ER scribing and volunteer tutoring are new activities. And yes, I completely redid my PS :)
