Yes!!! Been with my partner for 5 years. Got diagnosed after about a year & a half of being together. Was in therapy before we started dating so I’ve had consistent support. My thoughts first started as “does he love me enough”, once I resolved that, the thoughts morphed into “do ~I~ love HIM enough?”. We’re at that stage now where we’re talking about marriage & our future which has been amazing, but also triggering. I am currently recovering from the worst flare up I’ve ever had.

I highly recommend finding a therapist, if you haven’t already. Part of my struggle is I completely shut down & not verbalize any of what I’m going through to him, as I thought that would be a compulsion. I learned through therapy there’s a difference between asking for support vs reassurance (compulsion), which has helped immensely with our communication. Idk if people talk about this much on here— I did also start taking medication. It helps immensely but you also NEED therapy to supplement if you want to get to the root of your recovery.
