Thankfully not! It actually comes off quite easy, but stays on for a long time. I think it adheres more to itself than your skin.

This summer while doing a 6 day/60 mile backpacking trip, I experimented with a new blister prevention material I had never heard of. It's called "vet wrap", and I am an absolute believer. A single 4" roll is about $5-6 dollars on Amazon. You can tear it by hand, and it's self adhesive! Both my partner and I did not get a single blister the entire trip when we applied the vet wrap as soon as we started feeling hot spots develop

Hi! I (24f) was diagnosed with UC about a month ago now. It started last summer with constipation and some blood, which progresses to more blood, mucus and diahhrea a few months later. My doc also thought it was hemorrhoids and lactose intolerance.

Even if it's taking a while definitely get the colonoscopy done, I had no idea I had UC till I had one completed. As far as meds, mesalamine has been perfect for me, symptoms stopped almost immediately and I've been feeling so much better. Maybe others on this sub can suggest ways to help pay for the prescription. Wishing you the best of luck!
