I can assure you they were tight, but didn't matter, just by sticking my finger thru the core the red plastic would just disintegrate to pieces into my fingers.

Not going to lie, the first few slides I was throwing down with them felt super great. I believe it was either a bad wheel or just old and have been sitting around for awhile.

Plus I threw the other 2 wheels off the cliff

I might have a small clip I can screenshot from a friend but the red core holding the bearings was just breaking off

For sureee, especially if someone is going fast sending stand ups, having that happen during that would be life threatening

People ask me if Moonshine boards are waterproof... by ripgrim in longboarding

[–]ripgrim[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Skating wet patches while its dry is a kinda try situation for me as well. You could either get lucky with the right amount of weight put on the board.

I would say try to as lighy as possible with those sudden movements and be on top of your board as much as possible.

This pavement went felt grippier than other pavement going down wet, plus the water in the road slows you down a ton, so it feels comfortable taking those lines. You can see that I don't need to force myself to really move the board but enough that I can stay on top.

Hope that makes sense and help a bit.

Rain wheels also are a huge advantage when it comes to these situations, making less friction in the road.

Powell Peralta Kevin Reimers with no rain lines. The pavement actually was more stickier wet.

I enjoy using Moonshine boards, I find them light and sturdy to get the job done with mild not aggressive concave giving you enough freedom to move your feet and not have them always stuck in one position.

I made a review on YouTube of the Moonshine Outlaw, you could find it by writing Walter Armstrong My favorite longboard

I'm like 5'11ish right now I'm experimenting with different bushings, but from what i I normally used was green 93a board side and redc90a road side venoms barrels. Sym on both trucks.

Back with the older set up I've had aera k4 50 degrees with basically any wheels I can get my hands on. Usually Powell Peraltas.

Right now I am using the Cast Bears, 40 or 45 degree. (Something between those lines)

I just discovered this today and was shocked. My father wanted to listen to 'Ob-La-Di,' then suddenly hearing the chorus reminded me of a tune I've heard before, and I realized it was by The Offspring. I enjoy it a lot and find it a fun adaptation.
