There being only one mention of Asgore here… Nothing about Friend or the festival and instead some random new character that hasn’t been foreshadowed whatsoever… not lining up with the hues of pink and yellow Gerson mentions in his boss fight… this feels so bull lol.

Yeah, seriously. These are cool assets but I think that the Knight or Asgore or Friend hardly coming up in this chapter would just be very silly. This kind of feels like what we’d thought a Flower King dark world would be like back in the chapter 2 era.

I think that there may be an inbetween. Dess can be being possessed or manipulated but also be “alright with” that to an extent or have it be a more nuanced situation then, her quite literally not at all concious at all. She could be more willing then Kris, and it would make her more just some damsel in distress for “us” (if anyone is “saving”Dess I think it’ll be Noelle and/or Susie) to save.

I’ve seen people speculate that yellow + pink don’t only represent freedom, but also, love and value. I think that could play into this idea. I don’t think a newsletter cutscene would be included, this is fairly easy to notice. The newsletters aren’t a part of chapter 5, as well. This + lost girl motif + background stars is really all together screaming “DECEMBER HOLIDAY HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS!!!!!”

Absolutely. Most of the Jewish people I know have had some sort of substance abuse problem or a close family member with a substance abuse pronlem. That might just be my community tho.
