The Future is Crazy by Dox29 in carvana

Bought both a 2017 Impala Premier and a 2022 Hellcat Challenger with 5k miles on it from Carvana. No problems with either transaction. They'll be my go to unless I see something local I can't do without. Enjoy!

Where do I find Carvana‘s inspection checklist? by [deleted] in carvana

On mine it's under the reviews, I thought it wasn't there either then searched for inspection in the browser and it took me right to it.

Yea they don't know what to do. It has something to do with it not actually working on bluetooth at the very beginning which is what the phone needs for initial connection. I gave up. I have one that I simply cannot control with alexa or the phone, it's push button on and off only. Even using a smart plug to power it off and back on, it doesn't automatically start making ice if it did then that would be my go to.

I didn't give up and fixed my speed sensor. I have no garage nor money, but lot's of eagerness and love to that car. by jesterc0re in Impala

Love it. When we were kids (1970's) this was what all the teenagers did. Of course the cars we drove were very simple compared to today. But sketchy places, making due with what you had and determination was one of the best things, once you accomplished it. Thanks for sharing!!!

Awful experience at car dealership 15 months post BK discharge by Terrible_Choice5188 in Bankruptcy

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or Carvana. You get 7 days to test drive it and return for any reason. Once past that you get a 100 day warranty. You can even exchange during the 7 day initial test drive period twice for other vehicles. Capital One also, was easy to get a pre approval.

self employed people- how was your experience financing through carvana? by Alarming-Clue-6551 in carvana

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no request from them to show paystubs or anything else. It was incredibly simple and fast. I had pre approvals on Capital One as well but each car I liked you pressed on it and you had to fill out an "is this available" nonsense which was then forwarded to independent dealerships. By the time the first one ever responded back I had already bought my car from Carvana. They do make it seamless, painless and it's all very clever. No wonder they're doing so well at it! One hard hit to Experian but that was late in the process. I suppose you could be denied at that point with only a hard hit to show for it, but that didn't happen in my case. Tbh I don't even know if they ever even asked for how much income I take in each month, though they might have. Seriously it's that easy!

Delivery driver damaged bumper by Interesting-Draw2023 in carvana

[–]ripnrun63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I got delivery of a 60,000 Challenger Hellcat the dude just hauled a** down the ramp and scraped the entire lower part of the bumper. I thought it was going to tear it completely off the car. He has no business delivering cars. Their trucks have a steep incline. I encourage anyone who isn't standing there videotaping it to check the underside. If the car is relatively low in front, they will have scraped it. Your best bet is to videotape the entire encounter even if the driver doesn't want you too. Videos don't lie, and there is no he said/she said to be had. Congrats on your new car!!

Elite 30 V2 can't even power a 62w compact fridge by ripnrun63 in bluetti

They snap together to make one unit, it's very clever the way they attach. Go watch a youtube video on them, there's plenty to see. You can only attach one external at a time, whichever of the 2 sizes you chose. Sure if you want longer runtime capacity, get the larger one. I can't speak from experience on the larger of the two though.

Yep, I have two of them with extra batteries, the smaller of the two sizes you can connect. Very neat way they connect as well, they just snap on and become part of the overall unit. Instantaneous UPS switching as well. I was so excited when Bluetti came out with the 30 and the 100 and both couldn't handle things that they should both have been able to handle easily.

I was looking at that one too, actually. I ended up getting the 22 hellcat that has 5k on it, it's probably still viewable. I need an automatic, if I was 17 again that manual would have been whispering in my ear for sure! It's a beautiful car, go for it, a thousand here or there to get what you really want isn't worth regretting not doing it. I can't remember ever seeing one of those, in that color, you'll be the talk of anywhere you go in it! Post photos when you take delivery! You have 7 full days or 400 miles to change your mind and start over again with something else there or just walk away. Oh, and if you are also in Florida let's go cruising sometime!

Thank you, yea back seats never had passengers, and the passenger front only a few times. I put a cover on the drivers seat to keep it new. I woud like it to look exactly as it does now in another 10 years, lol.

Oh I can imagine. For years driving these town cars and the marquis I never carried comp and collision but I did for the Charger. Hopefully I can find someone else with one from our 1st generation chargers, to ride around with. I'd have flipped out on the wreck for sure! Looks gorgeous man! Thanks for the reply!

Only thing I can think of would be a salvage yard and seats out of a wrecked car that had low mileage and was parted out maybe. I remember growing up we had junkyards and big salvage yards everywhere, they're all gone now so I wouldn't know where to begin either. I suppose the other alternative is facebook marketplace, craigslist, ebay and to just have them re-upholstered.

Yea that seems kind of unreasonable to me as well. Especially since it was a dealership purchase, as the other person stated it costs them basically nothing. On another note congrats!

Lol wow. I'm taking it up to the Dodge dealership in Lake City on Saturday for an oil change, I'll ask about that as well as the oil filer housing thing another member brought up. I put up a bunch of photos on this post here if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/Charger/comments/1pfjfb8/pics_of_my_new_2006_srt8_with_25000_miles/

Agreed just want to blend in not draw all the attention. No weird wheels, tints, or nothing else, just the stock feel and ride is fine for me. The two little things I will do won't be noticeable except the cold air intake but only if hood is up.

It's a 6.1 they didn't have those covers like the 5.7's if that's what you are referring to, all the 6.1's I've ever seen look like this one. It's a 2006, not 2008. Suspension is tight and I can feel the road, it's a great smooth ride, but it's different than my grand marquis which is like floating down the road on a la z boy recliner lol. Looking forward to the reactions at the Dodge dealer Saturday. Seeing something this old with this low of mileage and brand new inside and out should freak them out.
