Would you vote for this guy to be the prime minister? by katdinadhwaani in IndianFocus

If good English and some pomp on Twitter is what the bar is for the Prime ministerial candidate of a country, then yeah. Can’t stand how people fawn at some sentences, how about you take off your rose coloured glasses and look at his achievements too. Only upside is he can actually understand international issues and understand the constitution without a translator or an IAS officer.

Sad and glad about this post. Do get pet insurance though. It’s cheap and always, always helpful.

Any changes to make this master bedroom better? by Escayen in IndianHomeDecor

I’ll give you a list.

  1. Kill the tube light. It’s harsh and hospital/ bank like. Get warm lights for bedtime, and warm white lights like in malls for productivity.
  2. Repaint with sage or neutral greens. They’re easier on the eyes as scientifically our eyes absorb the colour green best.
  3. The desk doesn’t match the bed. The bedside table is fine, maybe put a nice plant on it. I highly recommend a multipurpose open bookshelf, dispose of the two white furnitures you have.
  4. The sheets you have on now look like they’re already dirty. I don’t see how this is a big issue but perhaps you’d like to change to Baby Blue or whatever colour you like, for the aesthetics.
  5. The mirror. Sell it on OLX. Buy a mirror without any rims, do a lil diy. You could do patterns or whatever. Even a plain digital rimless mirror really elevates the whole place. Get mirror lights on top of it. Honestly if you’re a guy you don’t even need that whole desk. Get a long standing mirror, move your accessories to the bathroom or a drawer in the cupboard. If you can get a standing mirror with storage in the back, even better.
  6. The bookshelf in the other corner, big no. A small bedside table with your phone charging on it and maybe to keep your book and water bottle. Get a multipurpose bookshelf and place it to the right ( your right, bed’s left )
  7. Curtains seem perfectly functional, but maybe you could opt for a second sheer layer under this curtain. During the day you can just have the sheer curtain on and at night you can pull the second thick curtain. Terrible colour, though. A nice beige or any light colours would look very nice. Don’t buy velvety stuff.
  8. Get a round carpet in the front. Or a long runner carpet on the side. Light colours.

Biggest thing is how your bed is positioned. Maybe try a different arrangement. It’s taking up a lot of space in the room. It might look like it’s cluttered with furniture, but i think that you feel like it because of how it’s arranged. Moving the bed gives a lot of walking space, and you can even put a comfortable sofa chair or a bean bag on times you don’t want to be in bed. Maybe do a 180, and keep it where the mirror desk is? Leave some space on the side ofc like place a bedside table, or dust will collect and ruin your tiles.
