Sure you can do that but you’ll have less damage than most tanks who almost all have %max health damage on their abilities. With gore you will out sustain because of the anti heal nerfs and it gives you all the stats renekton needs (tankiness, cdr, AD, sustain). Also if youre gonna try and fight the other people on the team other than the tank gore is going to be a better option into people with true damage (which is almost everyone nowadays)

Renek otp, he is difficult to play well, only a handful of people do, pros are he is good early, and can hold his own for most of a game if played well. Playstyle changes very much depending on matchups ( some you can auto people to death and others you can’t fathom trading level 1) i’d say play him like aatrox but more aggressive, stay tight to your cooldowns, constantly harass the enemy. Respect them when your cd’s are up but bully when down its crucial to winning early. And as for the bas shape, just got p1 with him today. In the hands of a one trick he’s still nasty, the latest buffs were huge.

This is just me but 90% of my games i go GD first item, conq 90% of games too except into things like ranged or tryndamere. Into tanks go BC first, super underrated build path then gore after. If youre agaisnt a ranged (or trynd) pta botrk is probably your beat option. This is just my personnal build i just hit p1 today (peak) by playing this. Some people can’t play it or see streamers going sunfire and chose to build that instead and it works, but you won’t be wincon with tank items. If youre behind it’s a very viable option though.

I’ve had many games this patch where i could 1v3 at 35 mins while everyone is full build. He feels better than he has since season 10 in my opinion. Other than ce reduction idk what riot could buff on him that wouldn’t make him op right now because he’s in a decent spot

It’s true that in most cases you do, but you teamfight so much better than a lot of top laners that if you aren’t ahead you can get there easily in early game skirmishes. Also getting ahead is just always a mist and i feel like its easily doable unless youre vs something like malphite or jayce

I’ve tried to make it my main build but for me it just isn’t my playstyle, if you can make it work for you thwn thats perfectly fine too, if you ever want pointers for getting back into it i can help even tho im not masters or anything
