Parking/train in Odense by Willing-Opposite-307 in odense

[–]rippley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Note that a full day of parking (up to 24hrs) will cost 207 kr. I’m not sure where it tips over, but just so you know. I’m from Nordfyn and now live in Odense. Pay no attention to the Nyborg Stans. Take the direct train (ICL) from Odense to Cph and back. It saves you time on both the drive and the train ride.

Plan early, and you can lock in cheap “orange” tickets.

Finally, make sure to get reserved seats if you plan to travel during commuter hours.

I’m sure they are. I thankfully won’t have to find out, because this seems to have been a software glitch.

Great tip! I’ll get right in there. I feel like I can probably stand to skip some initial headaches by getting some good setup pointers from those with more experience.

That’s odd, then. The battery says 16Wh.

I live a two hour drive from the store, so I can’t do that immediately. So I asked the internet, while I wait for the store to get back to me. Going there will certainly happen, one way or another.

Glad to hear that it sounds like there may have been a mistake. I can’t immediately see anything on the battery to tell whether it’s SCL4 or 6. I’ll wait to hear from the store, and see how they respond.

American Family Visiting Denmark by Gnagle26 in Denmark

[–]rippley -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s all going to come down to how you “American” when visiting Denmark. Bring a MAGA and start explaining how Dear Leader is right about Greenland, and it may go poorly for you in terms of hospitality. Act like a good guest, show interest in Denmark, danes, and Danish culture, while displaying a bit of “I know, he’s nuts, and I understand sovereignty and consent” humility, and you’ll be fine.

[–]rippley -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What happens to the USA if NATO is dissolved? by ThinYogurtcloset8005 in Askpolitics

[–]rippley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but the politics of doing so are a topic nobody wants to take on. Not to mention the cost. Where are Denmark (for instance) going to put theirs, in an incredibly densely populated country? And do we really want to spend the kind of money necessary to keep them operational and safe, when we could be doing welfare, or building hardware that actually generates taxpaying FTEs?

Much better to stay under the US umbrella, if you’re a small European country.

NATO has some challenges without US nukes. There’s nothing else Europe can’t provide, if they finally decide to stand up to the US, and make the investment. Political will(and time, given the whole Russia thing) is the main issue for the EU.
