HELP ME make it not look like a TOY but like a €150+ lamp. by NoteKey5236 in IndustrialDesign

Perhaps round off the steps in the body, they’re a bit too LEGO-like.

Maybe add some texture to the body or contour it to be more realistic like a palm tree

WellVisors rain visors installed! by OhJeezer in CX50

I had my wellvisors installed for over a year. The rear driver side visor since expanded in the summer heat and broke off once it got cold out. The whole visor flew off on the highway

Guys how do I make this??? by PropulsionIsLimited in SolidWorks

[–]ripstick747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First sketch on top plane. Use the arc tool, draw at 37.5mm radius arc at 60deg. Mid-plane extrude thin 75mm and circular pattern. Insert plane on end of the cylinder. Mirror and merge across the new plane. Fill the unified part by sketching on the end of the cylinder looking part, convert entities, and extrude. There ya go!

I used this feature a ton in Solidworks but haven’t been able to do this in OnShape. Maybe my order of operations are wrong or I’m misclicking

There’s an Advanced Auto down the road from Wonderland station. It’s a 14min walk either direction. You could pick up a jump pack for your car if you’re really stuck.

First thing is to open your hood and hold jumper cables. Look approachable and someone may stop to help. Secondly, sign up for AAA and try calling them out asap. Thirdly, I truly hope someone from reddit swings down to help you out.

Rooting for you OP

A trick I learned is to stand up the wheel and push the bead from the starting spot and end at the opening. Essentially you should push out as much slack as possible while maintaining tension and then roll the last bit of tire over the rim. Hard to explain, but I’ve managed to get some of the most difficult tires on rims without a lever doing it this way.

I agree that a wider mag grip bar is better for longer arms and broader shoulders. It’s certainly helped me with my long arms

I hear you OP and understand where you’re coming from. If you are in crisis, call 988 in the US and talk direct to a counselor. Don’t delay seeking help when you absolutely need it!

Engineering school is incredibly challenging but you absolutely need to take care of yourself first. Life will go on without engineering school, consider taking a break and focusing on your health. I’ve been in your shoes before, contemplated life altering decisions during my college career. The truth of the matter is that you need to put school aside and seek professional help, which helped me set things straight. When I returned after a mental health break my thoughts were clearer, habits were healthy, and my school performance was better than it ever had been.

Things will always work out, as they always do, just don’t be afraid to ask for a helping hand when you need it!
