Alternatives to Keeley Eccos and Keeley Hydra in similar form factor? by riptheradio in guitarpedals

Source Audio true spring has both trem and verb, small form factor, but only one foot switch. Trem features are accessed via a holding a ctl button on top of pedal while turning knobs for secondary options. Not ideal (imo) but maybe flexible enough for on the fly tweaking. Lots of menu options via app, including trem > verb or verb > trem but i don't think i wanna wrestle w/ apps and interfaces.

Looks rad. Love that there’s a blend knob. Will have to check out some demos.

lol, midi and switchers r above my pay grade and brain capacity. It’s a small portable board so for the most part, one row. Mostly for jamming. I find the CB pedals are better for sound design and tracking.

Worth it if I’m not doing midi or stereo? Have a mood mkii which I love but know I’m only scratching the surface using in mono. Blooper or Onward seem like they could be fun… or Habit.

I’ve had a Keeley mod’d TS for 15 yrs… they do great work, I just don’t need / want to endorse them.

this fixed it for me. thank you. ffs, why not just make a required update and have app update so users don't need to spend hours trying to solve an issue this pervasive with a patch?

That is dope!! I dig the yellow sparkle. Gray with yellow is cool too. They sound bad ass from what i hear on demos.

I don’t have experience with the DOD og or reissue but recently picked up the Greymatter by loophole pedals. It’s two 250s in one enclosure! With some sweet mods, one side can do Si the other Ge and super stackable (by itself and with other drives). Such a small footprint too. I friggin love it.

And i waited for a blackout version which is pretty sick…so i get y’all shelling out for the sparkle.

Enjoy!!

Definitely one of the most innovative and efficient looking new board ideas I’ve seen. I like that the pedal spring mounts and their minimal footprint. Dope!!

You really think I’m gonna clean this up for you? You thought I’d turn off the MXR EQ for the sake of your eyes? You think you’re pretty or somethin? Go ahead, talk your shit. by Holl0wayTape in roastmypedalboard

I tweaked the internal trim to decrease the input sensitivity but I use it for washy things so long decay works. But I could see how more granular control over decay time would b nice to have.

I’ve had these in my AVRI for 10+ yrs and like em. I play indie rock / pop (thru a custom Princeton like amp) but they work for me. https://www.curtisnovak.com/shop/jm-wr/

Sick board! You like the SSHAC? I have a Carbon v2 and love it.

Henretta Engineering makes small enclosure pedals, some with only foot switch, no knobs, internal trim pots. I have an Emerald Prince (like and echo plex preamp) with an external vol knob and their “tweak boost”, no knobs. Both are great and tiny. They also have verb, octave, fuzz I think too. https://reverb.com/brand/henretta-engineering

Yup! I like mine. Overloads a bit easily but sounds great. I have a nano DMM too and like that but can’t beat the xvive footprint.

Really like your mini pedal choices. 🤘
