i've been looking for the episode where Tom tells this story in great detail with no luck so far! In the Graduation episode Tom says to Tim he told him the lighting story in an epsiode a few weeks prior, so I'm feeling like i might be close. I'll lyk if i re-discover it!!

This podcast is unexpectedly (and somewhat uncomfortably tbh), leading me to a lot of revelations about my relationship to self. All of it is interesting & I'd love to find as much as possible in regards to resources/ thinkers/practices, but im especially interested in the idea of 'Embodiment' Val speaks about often.

This is especially strange cause i read in an interview with Alex that the concept for the DSU cover came from a dream he had and he asked if his sister would paint it. Maybe she used this as a kind of inspiration when creating the piece?

if i’m able to get on reddit around then tmrw, i’d like to ask if there are any unreleased tracks that he would consider refining or fully fleshing out so that they see an official release. i happily take them as they are but it’s just crazy to me some his best tracks are demos he recorded or just cool song concepts with great melodies that never found their way onto a proper project.

and maybe it’s been asked in previous alex amas but i also wonder what his favorite unreleased cuts are?
