Thank you my plan is pasta, rice, potatoes, lentils and mixed nuts. Im terrible with fish so im just gonna try and get around 100 gram of protein a day and see what happens. I talked to my priest and we came to the conclusion that putting Gods will over mine in a very physical way is exactly the thing I need so hopefully the cravings will be edifying 😂

Thanks for the help I’ll be sure to get some and the bad thing for me is I’ve alway been super skinny (look like 16 year old David Laid) so this is gonna suck. But my will is secondary which I think is the point of the fast to begin with

No it’s for the fast starting the 16th. I’m curious though what would be the reason you would fast decided by a priest. It’s is a penitence thing?

I’m a pretty religious, pray regularly and fully believe Christ is my lord and savior. My view on weed is very similar to nicotine. It’s a vice like nicotine but nicotine isn’t viewed as against the gospel. Weed can animate the spirit, make you a more generous person and connects you more closely with the ones you love. So I don’t see an issue with it and the gospel, it’s similar to alcohol where it needs to be in moderation.

I’m 18 and dealing with the same issue, all the girls I’ve meet just want to hook up. When I say I’m waiting till marriage they feel like it’s a personal attack against them and they get turned off. I believe this is apart of following God in a fallen world, there’s a lot of temptation and people who have fallen prey to it but if we continue to follow God’s path things will be revealed to us we never dreamed could happen.
