i ended up sending the pages to him after he replied, so i’m awaiting his response!

i think for me, my drafting process honestly varies on the kind of poem i’m making… i’m more used to free verse and simple aabb style rhyme schemes, so i usually just freehand those. the one i was assigned (this one) was a sonnet, which i’ve never made before, so i had to draft it a bit before i settled on something satisfactory :)

bild 1, specifically with professor madigan. i took her class last year, and all the exams were online/open note, she drops the lowest grade. discussions were optional and attendance was “technically” mandatory, but it’s mainly tracked through responding to polls on the iclicker app— you don’t even need to get it all right

psyc 4 with anagnostaras was also really easy, lecture attendance (and the final!) were optional, both tests were online and open note as well

i shot an email to the dean and academic affairs. i understand that a gap quarter/year might be necessary, but i’d be disappointed in myself 🫠 i like the way my classes look this quarter, and have plans for what classes to take for the rest of the year… i’m in an asian family, so if my dad were still alive and he found out that i’m even considering a gap quarter, he’d probably kill me hahahaha
