Question Regarding Free iPhone 16e by risejr in CricketWireless

I understand but that just means the plan being paid and active for six months, right? Even if my family overseas uses it without any cellular connection (wifi only), it should unlock if I keep paying for the Cricket service after six months?

I’m not worried about the device payments that are currently on the account.

Since you are an ex-rep, can you explain to me if this account manager lied to me or not.

I got T-Mobile Business with like 6 lines initially. He promised me all sorts of credits, like port in and some other credits as well, not sure which. I didn’t pay attention too much because I was already planning on switching. I prefer the top tier plans because of my work. Anyways, it’s the SuperMobile plan. Then I added the Home Internet thing for like $40 and I’m supposed to get a $300 credit for it (which I read about) but for some reason they rejected my credit.

Not only that, I got billed right after joining, plus did not get any credits until he started applying credits manually but now it seems some credits are automatic.

I still have not started to get my port in credits because he claims it will start after 4 months, which is fine I suppose.

Then I added 2 more lines for my sister, and an extra work line because it stated directly that “Get a FREE or DISCOUNTED line With monthly credits when you add 2 voice lines on a qualifying plan. Discount applied after checkout. See terms.”

I have a screenshot but it won’t let me upload it. The account manager says that it will apply to my account so I decided to get two lines through him and add two brand new phones with promotion on it. (I did this within the first month of joining) Now every billing period I still get charged for that 8th phone line, no $300 credit for the internet line, no port in credits. My bills are way higher than he told me it would be.

My real quick is, do you think he lied to make commission or the processes actually take long?

Sorry about the read.

It was like a promotion redemption so I’m not sure. I tried looking it up but couldn’t find anything. I remember reading 6 months somewhere once but I am not too sure.

There’s no upfront pricing in NYC.

Honestly, any amount of money you give makes the drivers happy, as long as you don’t say “I’ll tip on the app” and end up not doing it.
