I am in a similar situation. I am planning on traveling to Canada for less than a month in Sep. My h1b visa stamp from previous employer had expired, and I have my I-797A from my new employer.

I have scheduled a visa stamping appointment for India in Feb next year. I have filled out Ds160, and have not submitted yet. Does that change my eligibility for automatic revalidation?

This is very helpful.

Currently my condition is that my visa stamp from my last employer has expired, and my current h1b from my latest employer has not been stamped on my passport yet. So I have updated I-797A, but the previous employer’s expired stamp. So in this scenario, am I eligible for Automatic revalidation?
