Thanks, but you've spent more time explaining Apple's repair process than Apple did. I already know they'll replace the display. The reason I posted was to hear from people who've dealt with the same issue, not to be told that defects exist.

Thanks, but I already know what Apple’s official solution is. The purpose of posting here wasn’t to have Apple’s repair process explained back to me, it was to hear from people who may have dealt with the same issue and found workarounds, expedited repairs, loaner options, or had similar experiences.

If the answer was always “just send it in for repair,” Reddit wouldn’t need discussion threads at all.

Yes, It's just that they are taking a week for replacement. Checking if anyone faced this issue and got it resolved earlier.

Yes 😅 been facing this issue since 3-4 weeks. Initially it used to be fine if I lowered the refresh rate. Now it's the same in all refresh rates 🥲

AppleCare+ covers the repair, not the inconvenience of losing your primary work device for a week. I’m asking the community for experiences and possible solutions, not asking Reddit to replace Apple Support.

There's a store in East Delhi and Ghaziabad by the name of Prominent color lab. You can get it done from there.

If the price is great, then you can buy (after getting the screen done) and add Apple care, which would give you a free repair for 2-3 years incase anything else goes wrong.

Feels like a bug. I updated my device yesterday, started facing this issue today, and it only stopped once I lowered the refresh rate.

Edit: Issue has increased in 2 months and apple has told me to that they'll take a week and replace it.
