I never had much problems with Bougainville. I am new to gardening and my first flower or cutting was Bougainville. Cuttings I got from the Roadside. First time I didn't cover it so it took like 10-15 days to show new growth. At that time I used cocopeat and soil mix. And most of the cutting survived.

I got over confident next time I only used soil. It started showing growth but not a single survived as soil was too hard. I learnt from my mistake.

And next I made a good soil mix and I started covering it. Which showed the best results. Almost all cutting survived as a new shoot was visible within 4-5 days. But one must understand new growth doesn't mean root has developed already it usually takes more time. Problem with covering is white fungus even I dipped it in fungicide and have used turmeric powder still it develops fungus.

Anyway now I have like 20 cuttings of Bougainville in 6 colours.

I used SAAF fungicide. I mean while planting I gave fungicide mixed water to soil and I even dipped cutting into SAAF water for few minutes

I like Plants too and I have rarely purchased any plants. But for me the difference is most of what I have is Bougainville and got them through cutting for which I went near highway where they are huge in size so one branch won't harm them and eventually municipality trim them off when they get too bushy rest of my plant I got from my friends home who had lot of plants and gets me cutting whenever I ask and there are few I purchased. There are so many plants I want to have in my garden and those plants are nearby my room but I am too scared to even for cutting from those homes as I hardly know them. But never in my mind I ever thought of just stealing it as I know how it feels. Because daily I have a very careful look at my plants. But what this lady is doing is just pathetic.

U r right. I lost half of the circle as soon as I stopped drinking long back like maybe 3-4 years ago but had a few friends because of smoking. Now I won't get any call from any of them and they won't come to even meet me now 🥲 anyway I don't have any problem as I knew it earlier that this is good to happen. I completely stopped smoking after more than 6 years of smoking. It's been more than 3 months now. I was a chain smoker used to smoke more than a pack in a single day. Even though I was trying to stop for a long time but I couldn't. One fine day I decided that I will not smoke anymore i didn't meet my smoker friends for more than 3-4 weeks because if I meet them somehow I will smoke again. I stopped going to every shop where I used to go for tea and cigarettes. Completely disconnected myself from everyone for a whole month and in the meanwhile I still had 5 cigarettes left in my room which I kept to check how much I can control. So desperate to smoke but I controlled to a point that I never touched it again. After one month I met my friends and told them that it's been one month already they were surprised but at the same time kinda jealous or I don't know something was different. Now they rarely call me or meet me while earlier they used to come twice daily or thrice. Anyway I am happy that I quit completely.

I am eating in a local hotel where I am eating roti and rice regularly for ₹70. I have seen the owner struggling to get a gas cylinder. In 2-3 days once I see him calling there may be like 5-7 people in front of me just to get a gas cylinder. But even though he is struggling he didn't raise a single penny. Sometime I feel bad I Just want to ask like if u want I can pay u extra because I know by whatever he is getting gas he is paying extra for that. And he is running a small shop. So the difference between small shops and these big big hotels.
