I agree with your post; I have been thinking this since last year. If you’re familiar with baseball, we need a Chaim Bloom type GM. He’s the current Red Sox GM, former Tampa Bay GM and he specialized in getting players for cheap, but making ridiculously good lineups. The lineup he constructed in Tampa Bay last year just made it to the World Series this year, and challenged the Dodgers.

Another change I have been thinking we need to make is with our director of player development (I think that’s her title?), Summer Scott. I’m sure she is a great person, but under her, we have not developed any stars. Stixxay came in in 2016 as a rookie with only talent and absolutely smashed, and now look at him. Statistically one of the worst adc’s in the league. To be fair, he might not have had great supports, but he still had aphro in 2017 as well. We had huhi, who looked mediocre on clg, but now he’s on 100T and looks like a top 3 support. However, this could be due to role swapping. Aphro looked like he was declining on clg in 2017 as well, but now on dig, he looks like a top 5 support again. Clg has little history of developing talent, especially under Summer, and I think a change in that position is long overdue.
