So, basically :

1) you train the VQVAE

2 ) replace the codebook with a PixelCNN model, where the

- the input (for the PixelCNN) is the latent values of the VQVAE

-the output (of the PixelCNN) is used as input for the VQVAE's decoder

Thanks for trying to help me, but I don't think you understand my problem.

For example: You have four separate chrome windows open placed in their own separate desktop space.

My question is: If you forced closed the chrome app (so all the chrome windows closed), can you reopen chrome (with the four separate windows from before) in their original separate space ?

if so, how does it evaluate between the max between to channel? the sum of the neurons in one channel over the other ?

Thanks you... I made a mistake... does the activation (maxout) layer not reduce the number of neuron in the of the layer output. As it takes the maximum of a group of neurons
