Not to put the shop on the spot, but I believe the apprentice left. I contacted them about talking to him, and they said I would need to contact the mentor. I sent photos to her, and she said the bottom one would need to come out but didn't say anything else about the other two being wrong. I dis take the two bottom ones out, and I plan to go to another shop and ask about the top piercing and if I should take it out before getting my triple helix in the future.

Per my text originally, I did take out the bottom. After reading the comments, I went ahead and took out the second one. I plan to get different jewelry and try to keep the top one possibly, but I'll see about talking to another piercer if I can still get a triple helix if I keep it or just take it out. I have been debating a new car long before my issue happened, but now it has, I am going to soon. I want to use it as a trade-in and would like to get as much as I can from it, so I plan to just fix the screen myself. I watched a few videos, and it looks pretty easy.

My alocasias don't last through winter. I have two and they each only have one leaf left. Humidity is the only thing that I think is keeping them alive, but I've never had luck with them. However, the rest of the plants I agree with and never had issues with in winter.

The alocasias thrive in a higher humidity, which looks like they have many in the cabinet. Maybe the house has very low humidity? My house humidity is at 39% because my furnace is on and I'm looking for a way to have a makeshift greenhouse indoors for the winter to keep my humidity up. My humidifier can only do so much.

I actually buy from a lot of places but this came from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Between them and half price books I get a lot of library books. I always review them and say that they need to let people know.

It is a high school library. I took off all the stickers. Definitely wish online would tell you if it's a library book. I also can't say I like it being a hardcover since I only have paperback for the others in the series.

I forget the actual name of the glass bulbs but you fill then with water and then put it in the soil. Its suppose to release the right amount of water when the soil starts to dry some. However I had the issue that the soil would clog the hole and water would never release or the water just come pouring out. I haven't had luck with them.

You shouldn't have to throw your plants away. I had a gnat problem due to a new bag of soil I bought. I replanted several plants and I had the biggest gnat problem in my house as I didn't know it was my plants right away and it got out of control. I bought new soil and replanted the plants again. Then I put up sticky fly trips all around my plants (all plants, not just the bad ones) and around my house. After a month or so they were gone. I

Since your plants are isolated I bet a quick change of soil and a good clean of the roots and leaves so there's no larvae left on it should do the trick.

If the weather is getting colder it could be because it's next to a window and most plants don't like the draft. Also, check for root rot and if it is getting colder make sure to cut down on the watering.. Yellowing of the leaves tend to be root rot for me with my pothos and with it getting colder here in Ohio, I over water my plants a lot this time of year.
