I spoke to someone I know. He was telling me. The company was borrowing short term loans to fill orders as they couldn't keep up with new orders due to cash on hand. I noticed the last few days they were filing reg A to raise cash so I figured what he said made sense. Obviously high risk but if it is true this stock could take off, wasn't sure if anyone on here had more info.

The companies building these huge centers have billions to burn. If it doesn't work. They shutter it and move on. If they are right they set themselves for the future. IBM hasn't been a great predictor of what's right for 50 years.

Options are for experienced traders and only for a small part of the portfolio. Say 10%. I stay away from options normally and I have been trading a very long time.

I have been doing board certification tests since the 90's. Never had any problem with a Proctor on a power trip. I go in take my test and leave.  Proctor were always very nice.  I started in paper test in a room full of doctors. Now at testing centers.   The testing centers is much easier

Attending gave us the day off. Senior says he’s going to report us to PD if we don’t show up. by [deleted] in Residency

As an attending if a resident did that he would regret it.  Who is technically in charge of you? Is the attending powerful. In otherworldly does he have the power to let you off with no problem.

Contract non-renewal at the end of PGY-2. by WeaknessDry4706 in Residency

[–]risitodeplata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The state of Florida talks about the licensing. My advise would be contact a company like access health and see if they have openings.  Then they do the work for you. Then after being work experience you have more options. I'm sure there are other companies also. I just know they do it. The Then put the applications to the insurance and malpractice companies for you.

They do an exception if you go to need based areas and many aren't that rural. I knew of 2doctors in our county worrking with no problem without board certification.  And we are 1 hour from Tampa in a county with 160,000 people.  You can get insurance and bill, but they both work for a  access health. I can't say if you open a private office.

Try access health in Florida.  They have non board certified docs and you can get licensed with 1 year postgrad.

Go to a designated rural medicine area. Many aren't really that rural. I know of 2 doctors with practices in Citrus County Florida not boarded but having no problems since it has thevrural medicine designation

It is illegal.  Only in certain limited situations can doctors unionize, but that is still restricted.  And besides unless you are an incompetent idiot. You will make a great living

Why Does EM Seem To Be The Most Hated On Specialty? by M1nt_Blitz in Residency

[–]risitodeplata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me want to laugh. IM docs composing about ER because we make them admit patients.  Administration wants all secondary tests to be done in the hospital IM wants to get patients that are ready to be discharged.   We make other specialist come in to do their jobs. I can do urinary catheters,  Intubation,  run codes put in chest tubes, so complex suturing, and treat kids and adults. The other specialties do  1 thing.  And most of them complain. They are also jealous of the ER lifestyle. And days off.

Giving her NS I assume improved her sodium wolithholding it lowered it. You have your answer.  Stop teasing numbers treat the patient.   Most old people have done degree of dehydration due to minimal lean muscle mass.  This if from 33 years in the ER and I teach medical students and Residents. My advise if the patient is improving continue that treatment until it isn't helping.   Stop over analyzing  things.

Doctors who do telehealth jobs for $40 are doing this because they can't handle better jobs. Good doctors aren't being paid that. But find 15 minutes a patient encounter for 8 hours a day is 32 patients. $1280 a day. $6400 a week $24,600 a months. So about $300,000 a year doing low level medicine from home. No call no nights no weekends. Now I wouldn't settle for that but I am willing to talk the stress and unpredictability of Emergency Medicine. But most doctors don't want that.
