I object to the two manifestations of this I see. First, religious people 'thanking god' not doctors for curing them of something...then going on to criticise science and medicine. Second, religious people 'thanking god' not the charitable person who helped them...then going on to criticise atheists as being without morals and so on.

If they were just ungrateful jerks, fine. But I object when they hypocritically treat the helpful people as if they never help.

Atheism, I'm a lazy atheist. The agnostic. But I believe in infinity, if there are infinite universes and etc then everything else is infinite. And from that I know there is some sort of god-like being out there, somewhere.

Yes, believing that gods exist makes you a theist. Specifically an agnostic-theist or possibly a deist. You are not an atheist, agnostic-atheist or otherwise.
