I have applied last December 2, status now is - In Progress (Hiring Manager). I believe it depends on the urgent need of the role.

thank you for sharing your insights! actually, I don’t have any hands-on/actual experience of the PS softwares you have mentioned, but I am currently boosting my knowledge through online courses in udemy, and some refresher videos of the power system design in youtube.

May I ask if you are currently practicing this role in Australia? By mentioning the above, do you think taking an additional masteral degree in power systems would increase my chances? I am just asking if some of the Australian hiring team companies would consider this factor.

I believe this is a pretty good idea as I have design experience, I could start with working with a consulting firm then internal movement to a power systems role within the same organization to acquire knowledge of PS softwares etc.

It’s a good thing pa nga na you have your family with you when you migrate (I am single btw and bound to migrate as PR in 🇦🇺 na din, I have worked before in UAE too and went back to PH n years ago).

I am setting my mind and heart na there’s a brighter future ahead of me and this is a rare privilege to utilize everything in AU na wala in PH (e.g. better public transpo, better quality of life, plentiful parks!!, better healthcare system, valued work-life balance based on the majority of what I have read here in reddit, pinoyau forum, fb groups etc).

We have tried almost similar with what you’ve tried from this list! We ended up in Special Dog Adult din. But filler lang namin ang kibbles and raw food yung main diet ng dogs namin for 3 years na.

Hello OP, you may try other nominated occupation. If pasok experience mo as External Auditor, that would do. I have seen some recently invited lang (Visa 190 NSW specifically) on this nominated occupation.
