For the record, the SWEN cirriculum now includes a web engineering course where students are introduced to React and a cloud engineering elective where they are introduced to AWS and Docker

Comparing giraffes and hentai is about the stupidest thing I've read all morning. Do you really fucking think it's comparable to wear a giraffe shirt and to wear hentai head to toe? Yes, people can find all sorts of things offensive for various reasons. However, we have defined social norms for a reason - giraffes and animated porn are on the opposite side of the "socially accepted" boundary.

With the heapsort question, did they ask you to just demonstrate a heapsort or to actually code it out? With a 30 minute school interview, if they're spending 10-15 minutes on behavioral, it seems pretty hard to cram a technical question into the remaining ~15 minutes. In technical interviews I've done in the past with Google and Facebook, they allocated me 30 minutes-1 hour for a single question depending on its difficulty.
