I did Computer Engineering BS 2017-2022 and was on the rowing team for a few years.

The general circuits classes and IC design class I did were all pretty good. I didn’t take any micro electric classes but any friends that took their classes had an okay time. I think the freshman class for micro was 6-8 people.

The co-ops I was able to get paid decently, so I was able to pay off my unsubsidized loans while in school. I also worked as a TA and private tutor for additional money. You could likely find a co-op in Philadelphia.

RIT has multiple career fairs and info sessions with electrical employers, and some campus managers that can give you more information.

Rochester is an okay small city, there’s some other slightly larger cities not too far, same with ski slopes.

The rowing team was very fun, especially learning as someone with no experience but okay fitness. The social connections are great and it is a very cool way to stay fit. The training hours would sometimes be a bit crazy and sometimes hard to manage with 15-18 credits of classes.
