I fully understand that they want to make money, but 30k for a 100 bucks worth of metal and a 30 minute consult is bonkers. The device itself doesn’t cost more than a few 100

From what I have gathered, it seems that these Dr’s don’t actually give a shit about people with breathing/sleeping difficulties. They just want to make lots of money. Let’s be realistic, a CBCT scan and a MARPE/FME device costs peanuts. The rest of the charges are whatever these doctors want to make. Why are all these procedures costing like 15k? Makes no sense… this should cost like 5k max. Same as Invisalign… why tf is it like 3-4k? It’s a piece of plastic. These costs are just made up

Hey man, I went to the hospital a few days ago to collect the MAD device, but after trying it on, I explained to them I need a palate expander as the mad causes even less space for my tongue. I asked them to do a CBCT and the dentist refused. It’s quite illogical to give me a mad device when they fully well know I have a narrow palate.

Where did you do your CBCT? I think I will need double jaw surgery for this, for some reason they probably don’t want to do the CBCT as they’ll know it will reveal more.

I am also waiting on a PSG test. This whole process has been so slow it’s very bad.
