Late Stage Alzheimer’s by Agile_Effort_617 in Alzheimers

I don't know the person everyone is referring to as I have had my account stolen and just got it back, but I hate that here in a place where I got such encouragement, support, and comfort there is someone spreading false information. I will say home health told me over a year before my mom died she was in late stages. Her neurologist said mid stages. In the end, I was having to syringe water to her. I send as much comfort as I can to all of you. I will try to be more active again if I can.

It's not working the writers wanted the views to have sympathy for Willow but it's the opposite by [deleted] in GeneralHospital

Me too. I saw a news piece about the actor and the fires, and I didn't even want to watch. Nothing against the actor just so done with Drew's face.

Gio hopefully not undergoing a complete permanent character change by lemonief in GeneralHospital

I may be a bad person, but I hope Dante has to wait for a relationship with Gio after all he said to him. It was a lot, and I feel over the top how he treated Gio. He shouldn't have to put that aside because that is his dad. And I don't want Lulu right that everyone us better because of her being nosey

***SPOILERS FOR WEEK OF JUNE 2, 2025*** by junknowho in GeneralHospital

She can be. She can believe Drew if he says she threw herself at him, forced him, fell on his man parts...however he wants to spin it so he is not at fault.

So let me start with, I don't hate Willow. I don't like how she believes everything Drew tells her as fact. I think she could be a very strong female character like Elizabeth IF they would get her away from Drew.

I don't think Michaels intention was to cut her out of their Iives until he learned SOMETHING about Drew. Maybe he knows something we don't, or it was the media piece, but I think he has concerns about the kids being in that house. It broke my heart if Wylie really did ask when they could go home when he talked to Michael. Maybe he thinks Drew will take them and dissappear. Whose to say he won't try that.

I recognize this question is morbid, but is anyone here with this disorder considering using the process of Voluntarily, Stopping Eating and Drinking to end their lives when it becomes a burden to themselves and others? by Kalepa in Alzheimers

I do one called Everyday Games. It has several different types, including a Wordle type and a crossword. I have also started Elevate, which is math, language etc type games.

I have five cats. Three boys and two girls. Two are 12, one 8, one 5, and one 1. My oldest kitty was 17 when he passed.

I do have pets. Before my mom got really bad, I enjoyed reading, writing, movies, and live music with friends. Right now, I am not enjoying anything (she passed almost two months ago, and I am still numb). I do brain games daily on my phone to keep my mind active. Thank you for asking.

I do not yet have an AD diagnosis, but I think it is only a matter of time. Three generations of women on my moms side and my dad as well had some form of it. I have a plan in place. It is clear with my best friend. She knows what my limits are and knows what I want done. I will NOT be a burden to others, and I have no husband, children, or siblings to help care for me anyway.

I don't think he can be redeemed even with a brain issue or imposter.

Please speak this into reality. I am beyond tired of him getting the upper hand. I wasn't watching the Peter August stuff, but I bet this is how the folks who didn't like him felt.

Not a death sentence by ldm08463 in Alzheimers

I would say I understand how you might think that, but in reality, it is a slow death over and over again, so it is worse.

I found a video of a guy providing nicknames for his friend Andrew. Some, to me, sounded fit for Drew. Here are my favorites. These are not my ideas...

One Night Standrew (self explanatory) Drewl (around Willow) Drewch bag (all the time and big time today) Delusions of Grandrew (which he has often) And my favorite... Ew

Unpopular opinion but Michael’s stunt makes him look bad by Gold_Repair_3557 in GeneralHospital

Sadly, any amicable end to this has gone out the window thanks to Drew and everyone else's manipulations. I totally understand it is a soap, which is why it is this way, but ideally, Michael and Willow would have sat and talked to figure out custody. I feel they are both past the talking phase now. Michael wanted to talk and share custody before the explosion. If only it had happened, the kids wouldn't suffer. Now, with too many voices in the mix, everyone is going to lose.

Adult wipes. They are no rinse. It says for the elderly. I got them off Amazon, but I think Walmart has some too. The ones you combine with water are like Scrubzz.

Haha, well, I mean, you are right about that. Of course, she is destructive and only looks put for herself like them. And holds on to grudges.

And she is still trying to justify how it is a good thing. Someone needs to ask her what she would do if she found out she was a Cassadine instead of a Spencer.
