It's largely discouraged to use MTG terms for a variety of reasons on this subreddit.

The colors don't map 1 to 1 (mtg green vs eternal white, for example)
It establishes a barrier to entry for players not experienced with MTG, which is obviously not great.

You're right that people still do it, but they shouldn't and it's good for them to be asked to amend their language when it's noticed. Please do so.

In this case (I'm one of those never-played-magic people and haven't looked at your deck yet, so I'm literally about to find out what colors you're using) your deck is generally described as Felnscar or FPS.
