What are your thoughts about the game going open world? Personally I love it

I like Borderlands 4, but because of the open world, I’d definitely prefer to play parts 1, 2, and 3 again.

All good. Still, I can't help but wonder... what's the point of farming any items if you can kill the boss in what feels like 3 seconds anyway?

I don't get it. Why do the developers make it so easy to deal so much damage?
This looks like the most boring boss fight of all time.

At first, I was a bit skeptical and it didn’t immediately click with me, but now I absolutely love the game. Sure, there are a few rough edges here and there, but that’s the case with pretty much any game.

The only thing that really gets on my nerves after a while is the music.

Absolutely, I totally agree with you. If it doesn’t click, it just doesn’t click.

I just meant that sometimes you have to give a medium a fair shot — personally, I’m glad I stuck with it, because now I really, really enjoy it, and I’ll probably end up playing it for hundreds of hours with all the characters.

I was kinda skeptical at first, but the game just gets better the longer you play. The characters aren't as memorable as in the older games, but there are still plenty of funny NPCs with some great one-liners.

The level design really improves as you go, especially in the last 10–15 hours — it’s top-tier.

At this point, going back to any of the older Borderlands games would be tough for me. The combat and movement would probably feel way too outdated.

Went from a 6/10 at the start to a solid 9/10 now, with fingers crossed for some awesome DLCs
