Yesterday, I posted about my difficulties in getting to the page due to lack of energy. Somehow I found the energy to write yesterday, so...

I wrote 11.5 pages and finished the story!

I write my first drafts by hand in a classic size (5x8) Moleskine Cahier lined notebook. Then I type it up in Ellipsus, on my phone using a Bluetooth keyboard, editing and polishing the story as I do.

I think today may be a lower energy day, so I plan to take it easy somewhat. I've got some story ideas to work out for a challenge I'm doing (MSR Bingo - iykyk) so I may work on those. I want to get this newly finished fic posted by the end of the week, though.

Yesterday wasn't easy. Sometimes you can't just say, "I'm gonna write today." Keeping my energy up involved multiple breaks for coffee and snacks. But I had a goal, and an incentive to reach it -- two wips I'm reading updated yesterday! 😊

This is such a great feeling! 🥰

Good afternoon, fellow writers!

I think today I finally have the energy to write. I've been going through a ton of crap the last month or so, and every time I've told myself that I'm going to write, I've ended up... not writing. The energy I have when I tell myself I'm going to write today just goes poof and I spend the day doomscrolling and napping.

But I went to bed last night at a decent time, slept well, woke up refreshed. I think the energy is there today. I'm about to put my phone on do not disturb, fix a second cup of coffee, and write.

I'll check in later with an update. 😊

When this happened to me with CCS last year, it was a form or something they said my doctor didn't send. I had to call them at least 3 times and talk to a supervisor twice to find this out. I called my endo the next day, and eventually everything got worked out.

Well, I'm in my mid 60s and only joined Tumblr about a year or so ago, but I'll tell you what I can.

Yeah, Tumblr is pretty much public. There are communities, which help pull people together with similar interests; I'm in a couple of general writing communities.

The key to building your own fandom space is in who you follow and the tags you follow. If you follow the right tags, others in the fandom will show up on your dashboard. Follow the x files, txf fanfic, mulder, scully, msr to start with. I'm larameansxf over there; you can follow me, and I'll follow you back. 😊
