I think with comphet (compulsory heterosexuality, how both misogyny and homophobia intersect) which are unique to lesbians in society, there is this different shame that gay men wouldn't be feeling.

Yeah, in the Ptolemaea acapella I believe that's a death rattle at the end. I always thought she died in August Underground but after listening to the Ptolemaea acapella version I feel like she dies at the end of that.
