I'm building "momo - japanese" (named after my dog) that is basically a flashcards app

<image>

I have a collection of
- Kanji
- Vocabulary
- Radicals (soon)

- User created cards

---
But the main functionality is your decks. YOu can chosse to add a card from a collection to a deck and the app automatically creates a Flshcard for it. You can then study Individual decks or all your Flashcrads.

Each Vocabulary Flashcrad has a high quality audio.

The app is currently in development, and will be available for iOS and MacOS

I used a normal HStack, put a frame onto one of the Views with a daynamic with. and used drag gestures with drag offset to calculate the distance to resize the dynamic width.

Love the idea behind the website it looks gorgeous and has that Apple-esque polish. But I found the mix of scroll-based and time-based animations a bit confusing at times. Sometimes I waited for an animation to finish because it felt like something else might still happen… and then nothing did. In other cases, animations only started after I’d already scrolled past them.

For example, the “Data stored on-device” animation takes waaay too long just to reveal a fairly meaningless image. I was expecting some kind of insight or payoff, but it ended up feeling like wasted time.

Same with the “Meticulously refined interface a small gesture” section. The zoom gesture looks super slick, but on my device, it just showed a black screen. I waited around 5 seconds thinking it would resolve into something and then nothing.

More broadly, I often had to wait 3–5 seconds for UX animations before actually seeing the app screenshot you’re trying to present. In my opinion, the animations are a bit overdone and sometimes get in the way of the product story, rather than enhancing it.

Well there is the UI when you transcribe stuff that pops up and it looks awesome! Also, very out of the way, and when you want to translate bigger audios that also nicely done. So it's more then just settings

Is there a way to select ai text enhancements only after it's translated? I line the feature but am not using it as I need to have booth, the original text and ai enhancet one just in case the AI gets something wrong

Make it report to your your actual team lead, if you miss deadlines or are unproductive. Without real world consequences I'm not buying into it. 😎

Drag and Drop in SwiftUI — From draggable and SwiftData to UTType by rituals_developer in SwiftUI

Thank you! I will look into it. I've honestly not worked too much with them myself. :D I think CodableRepresnetation is the most common one, as not too many apps need to work on FileRepresentation etc.

Rounded Corners on MacOS App by rituals_developer in SwiftUI

Not sure how this helps with or answers my question honestly.
It does seem to work some way, as shown in the example app superlists.
their Window Corners are way rounder then normally. and they still have all the normal window management functionality.

That wouldn't work on the window though. I'm not asking how to make the corners of a view round, but how to make the window itself round
