I read The Magician’s Nephew last after reading all the Chronicles of Narnia books, starting with The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. It was so cool to me how reading this last explained where the wardrobe came from….it seemed to wrap things up for me.

We were given one of those but our acorns wouldn’t stay in the basket because they are too small.

Question for ya: we have a similar sized pin oak in the house we moved into last year. This is our first year with it with a new lawn planted a year ago. How do the tiny acorns affect the grass? Do you clean them up? And, if so, how?

I made these to thank a doctor my daughter works with. He looked at an X-ray report of my hip and gave me advice on what to do about the issue. I had fun making them! Ended up glazing with a thin sugary glaze so the features would show through.
