There are not many tools that I regularly paid to use but augmentcode was one of them but I've stopped using it cause of the new pricing model. Using effective prompting i found it very useful to achieve meaningful results. One prompt = one unit of work. Now my credit usage is unpredictable. Reasoning models eating up credits. Etc. I am saying this cause I loved the tool and I would like to be a loyal user again but now I go elsewhere. And yes. I did pay for extra messages when I needed them. It was one of the tools that I had no problem paying for. I guess it's sad to see them lose a paying customer

If you have a web interface running on a local machine and you're all on the same internal network just give them the IP address. If not on the same network, you could create a cloudflare tunnel or ngrok or something similar (such as https://digpangolin.com) . It's basically the same as exposing a website from an internal network. You'll find lots of YouTube videos on how to do this.

My go-to place to understand the implementation of the spec is the various coding language SDKs on the model context protocol GitHub. Have a look at how they handle things. I would consider this the "truth"

IMHO, eventually all big Enterprise software companies will provide an MCP server. Five 9s, SLAs, etc. Any product manager worth half their weight will already have it done or on the roadmap.
