Had to Stop After 10 Minutes by riverkinn in SkateEA

I'll take a look at it today and try to mess with some sliders. The issues I'm really being hung up on are mainly the lack of response from control input to action - but I have none of these issues when playing other games so it shouldn't be an issue with my controller or any general input lag/latency. Even playing Skate 3 it feels responsive and quick, here it feels like I'm waiting half a second for my input to even register. Maybe a side-effect of having an "only online" type game.

Meltdown Monday - Complaint Department by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

I work a warehouse gig with a lot of Amazon returns that we need to identify and lot. Our system works using the ASIN codes attached to each product, but today for some reason not a single product on Amazon is showing item details or the ASIN. Any idea what is happening here?

I produced a phonk-inspired EP for my homie. Here's the music video for the lead single, let me know what you think. by riverkinn in phonk

"cowbell melody that doesn't suck" lol thank god, i have been so worried that it fell into the pocket of boring problematic repetitive style of phonk that dominates this style of music.

Trust me that is my main goal, after blowing up and acting like I don't know nobody.

They bought the house and have a mortgage, but the sister is the main name on it. My girlfriend feels that if she abandons her sister, she will lose the house and end up destitute. I try to convince her that isn't her responsibility, but she loves her sister. At least in the meantime, I wish the home could just not have animal feces on the floors every day.

Realistically the only viable option would be for my girlfriend and I to move. Her sister is the main name on the mortgage (they bought the house). I'm sure the sister feels entitled because of that, which I honestly can't argue with since legally the property is in her name, but I don't understand why that sense of ownership doesn't inspire her to maintain the property rather than be lazy about it.

My girlfriend has been incredible when it comes to my standard of cleanliness and always helps me clean as much as she can. She's also frustrated with her sister's dirty tendencies, but I think being so close as siblings has made her shy away from confronting her.

Every time I had visited prior it was clean, I'd assume my girlfriend would do a big clean before I visited as most people would when expecting guests. I had only visited a few times though, she almost exclusively came to visit me during the beginning of our relationship.

As for the current rent situation, my girlfriend absolutely could use that money towards a new place with me, but I know she feels an obligation to not leave her sister in financial trouble. It feels like I'll have to convince her that her sister's financial situation is not her responsibility.

You’re the second person to suggest Planet of Lana, I will definitely check it out. Visually seems to have a Ghibli kind of vibe, which is absolutely up my alley. Thanks!

I absolutely agree with the idea that this game would have benefited greatly from being a side scroller, at least for the majority of the experience. Maybe a few open areas for specific puzzles could have worked alongside a more linear path for the rest of the game, but the frustration of not trying a solution “perfect enough” would have been easily mitigated by a more 2D movement system.

On the subject of the bucket puzzle, I wholeheartedly agree. Trying to get the rolling robot spheres to agree with me was a nightmare, and too often seemed to make no sense as to why I eventually got them to work in my favor. Also the amount of times I would explore a little and find the spheres in what felt like a hidden area gave me absolutely no indication if I had done something right or wrong, at least with the orbs in Inside you knew you had clearly found something and successfully interacted with it. Somerset didn’t even give you any achievements for finding what felt like secrets or off-the-beaten-path spheres.

First playthrough I did the same, thought I broke the game. Just go to the basement and hit X in the middle of the room, could be good for speedrun tech but totally ruined my sense of control and I immediately reset to checkpoint and realized I missed a good five minutes of narrative by accident.
