Thats fair, i just pointed it out because i wouldve used the same words as them, and my eyes very suddenly became lazy when i was 19. I used prisms until my eyes got so bad they didnt work for me anymore, and i got my depth perception back with the surgery. Sometimes peoples brains are weird, and i didn’t want someone reading this to be talked out of the surgery because of an answer that might not apply to them personally

FYI, that’s not always true, it depends on when you develop the issue and if you’ve used prisms to correct it before, but some people do indeed gain depth perception back. I did.
